How to select the appropriate rod size for the Mantor-Restorer DS & Classic models:
For beginners at a CI 1 or CI 2 level of foreskin restoration, it is typically recommended to start with one 8 cm rod and one 10 cm rod.
If you are beyond CI 2, you can determine the correct rod size by measuring your foreskin’s stretchable length. Follow the steps below to find out how:
To measure your foreskin’s stretchable length in four simple steps:
- Place your index fingers on the glans. Use your other hand to hold the foreskin.
- Slowly push the glans inside the penis. Simultaneously, pull the foreskin forward as far as possible.
- Use your thumb to mark the point where the foreskin reaches.
- Use a measuring tool to measure the distance.
Calculation of the correct rod size:
For the Mantor Restorer DS version: Add 3 cm to the measured distance. For example, if the measurement is 8 cm, a 13 cm rod would be suitable. 8 cm + 3 cm = 11 cm
Another example: If the measurement is 9.5 cm, round it up to 10 cm, then add 3 cm. A 13 cm rod would be appropriate. 10 cm + 3 cm = 13 cm
When placing an order, it is recommended to choose one rod based on the calculated size and another rod slightly larger, allowing you to have both a shorter rod for effective tugging and a longer rod to accommodate future growth.
