Worked well! And arrived in a timely manner, retainer is comfortable and often you forget you are wearing it! The tugging strap takes some getting used to and if you have a job where often you are bending down and lifting/twisting will lead to some minor skin irritation on the strap side if you don’t have a sleeve of some kind to help protect your leg. The extra elastic bands came in handy due to the fact I broke one relatively quickly in the initial “how the heck does this work” stage. 🙂 I don’t have any thing else to say except if you can buy it on sale and don’t be afraid to ask questions about how it works.

Very happy with the device! I have attempted about 3-4 other methods/devices on and off during the past several years with limited success. The Mantor is definitely the most comfortable and versatile restoration device I have used. I am able to wear it for most of the daytime hours and taking a few minutes for breaks while using the restroom. I primarily tug with the Mantor using a leg strap and the push plate serves as an adjustable spacer. A huge advantage of the Mantor over other devices is the ability to wear it while working an active job. I am able to walk, climb stairs, and stoop without worrying about the device slipping or falling off. Pretty awesome! I am more certain than ever that I will be able to gain the coverage I’m looking for thanks to the ingenuity of the Mantor.

Q & A

How do you know which retainer to use Paul asked on 20/09/2023

Hi Paul

There's a size range written next to the retainer options. You should choose the one that your size of glans fits into.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT ROD FOR THE MANTOR DEVICES?

For Beginners with Foreskin restoration who measure themselves at a CI 1 or CI 2 level

Normally 1 Rod of 8 Cm and another Rod of 10 Cm should be good to begin with.

If you are more than CI 2, please measure your foreskin’s stretchable length to find the correct Rod size for you.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FORESKIN’S STRETCHABLE LENGTH IN 4 SIMPLE STEPS?

1. Place your index fingers on the glans. With the other hand grab the foreskin.

2. Slowly push the glans inside the penis. With the other hand pull the foreskin forward as far as possible.

3. Mark with the thumb the point where the foreskin reaches to.

4. Use a measurement tool to measure the distance.

Calculation of the correct rod size:

Now that you know your foreskin’s stretchable length, you should add 3 cm to the number you have measured.
For example, in the photo the number is 8 so a rod of 11 cm will be the one that fits.
8cm+3cm=11cm

Another example, If your stretching distance turned out to be 9.5 Cm, round it up to 10 Cm and add 3.
10+3=13 Cm.  The correct Rod size for you will be 13Cm

When ordering it is recommended to choose one rod according to the size obtained in the calculation and a second rod slightly longer (2-3 cm) to enjoy both the possibility of a good tug with a short rod and a longer one you can grow into.
You can add more rods to your order at the accessories part of the shop, and enjoy even more flexibility.

Guide for choosing a pusher

****New****

We have officially started sending our pushers with the new Mantor’s air pad for maximum comfort. More info at the bottom of the page

The Pusher pads are divided into two types: Notched and Round.

First step in choosing the pusher for you is to determine whether you need a notched pusher or a round pusher.

Notched is for restorers who are left with a remnant of the frenulum.

Round is for those without any frenulum left.

How can I tell if I have some frenulum left?

Normally there should be a thin line under the glans where the frenulum sits. If you can see a line, then you probably have some left, so you should choose the Notched pusher. If there’s no line, and you don’t feel this area is more sensitive to touch, you should probably go for the round pusher.

How to find the correct pusher to fit your glans?

Each type of pusher comes in 7 different sizes.

You should first measure your glans, when flaccid, to decide which size fits you.

We have prepared a sizing guide to help you find the fitting pusher for you. Simply click on the picture below and print the document.

***It is highly recommended to use the sizing guide to get the most accurate choice***

***Make sure that you’re printing on an A4 paper. On page sizing option, set it to custom scale at 100%***

Click on the picture to print the document Glans sizing guide

Once you have printed the document, please follow these steps:

How does the sizing guide works?

Each circle on the guide is the exact size of the pusher size written on it. A good fitting pusher is one that has the same circumference as your glans’ widest part, so you should find the circle that is as close as possible to your glans’ circumference.

Step 1: Place a credit card or use the measurement indicator on the drawing to make sure the print is at the correct scale.

Step 2: Fold the paper at the horizontal line.

Step 3: Cut the inner section of the circle.

Step 4: Slide your glans through the hole while keeping the paper straight. The first size that your glans can easily slide through – is the one for you.  Don’t choose one that your glans can’t go through easily. Make sure to keep the paper straight while you measure. It should look pretty much like the example on picture NR 4.

If you can’t print our sizing guide, you can choose the fitting pusher according to your glans’ width.

How to measure your glans’s width?

We recommend using a caliper as shown in the picture below:

If you don’t have a caliper, then you can make a DIY Caliper by following these instructions:

Step 1: You need a ruler and two paper stripes.

Step 2: Fold the paper a few times to make it thicker, and then fold it a few times around the ruler.

Step 3: Use a duct tape to attach one strip of paper to the ruler. Make sure the stripe is aligned with the ruler’s measurements units.

Step 4: Move the second stripe on the ruler until the two stripes of paper gently touch the glans.

***If you don’t want to mess around with measuring, and you prefer to do it simple and quick, you can lay a ruler directly on the glans as shown in the picture below. Please be aware that it’s not as precise as the other methods. Make sure to look carefully!***

How to match your measurement with the correct pusher?

Below you will find the width of each pusher size. Ideally, the pusher width should be equal to your glans’ widest part at the base. A difference of 1mm larger or smaller is ok.

For example: if your glans’ measurement is 34 mm, you should go for the C size pusher. If it’s 35 mm, choose the D size pusher. If your glans measures right between two sizes, then both sizes could work for you.

Size A: 28 mm/1.1 Inches

Size B: 30.5 mm/1.2 Inches

Size C: 33 mm/1.3 Inches

Size D: 35.5 mm/1.4 Inches

Size E: 38 mm/1.5 Inches

Size F: 40.5 mm/1.6 Inches

Size G: 43 mm/1.7 Inches

I have received my pusher, how do I know if I made the right choice?

Here is a series of pictures to illustrate the difference between the pusher’s sizes.

These pictures will help you to determine whether the pusher you have chosen is indeed suitable for you.

The crucial factor is the width and not the depth. The Pusher should be as close as possible to the width of your glans without being too small or too big.

The new Mantor’s air pad:

Introducing the latest addition to the Mantor’s product lineup, we are thrilled to present the Mantor’s Air Pad. Crafted from premium, extra-soft silicone material, this innovative addition offers unparalleled comfort and versatility. Designed to be worn around the base of the pusher, it serves a dual purpose. Firstly, it functions as a center air shock absorber, providing optimal cushioning. Additionally, it delivers extra cushioning around the circumference of the pusher, precisely where it makes contact with the glans’ coronal ridge. The ingenious combination of the soft pusher and the air cushion ensures an unmatched level of comfort that has never been experienced before.

Mantor's Air Pad

Is it really that important to do all these measurements?

Definitely yes. The Mantor’s unique pusher is designed to let you comfortably put pressure on your glans without causing any discomfort. A fitting pusher is crucial for your success. Getting a pusher that is too small or too big greatly reduces your comfort, and will most likely prevent you from enjoying the full potential of the Mantor.

What is it made of?

The Mantor’s pusher pad is made from a skin safe, platinum soft silicone manufactured in the USA.

The Mantor's AirPad

How Does It Work?

The mechanism operates based on the principles of physics, showcasing its elegance and simplicity. When the AirPad comes into contact with the glans, the air within its center undergoes compression, while simultaneously, the glans creating a seal on the outer circumference of the pusher to retain the trapped air. As a result, an unparalleled level of comfort is achieved, giving the glans a sensation of floating rather than being subjected to pressure. This straightforward yet innovative addition marks a significant advancement for the Mantor devices, aiming to enhance the process of foreskin restoration by providing a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Mantor's Air Pad

How to Use the Mantor AirPad?

Using the Mantor with the AirPad is a straightforward process. Before each use, gently pull one side of the AirPad away from the pusher to inflate until it becomes flat with the pusher (see the picture below). Once this is done, the device is ready for use.

***For Notched pushers, ensure that the part of the AirPad located at the notch is positioned on the top surface of the pusher.***

There are 3 important points to consider:

  • 1) When you receive your order, the AirPad on the pusher may not inflate immediately as shown in the guide. This is because the AirPad needs to adjust and conform to the shape of the pusher. It typically takes about a day or two of regular usage for the AirPad to settle, after which you will be able to use it with air.
  • 2)The extra pad adds thickness to the pusher, which may make it challenging to fully insert it under the gripper in some cases. If you encounter difficulty and the extra distance prevents you from successfully putting on the Mantor, you can use the pusher without the AirPad for a short period. As you gain familiarity with the device and your skin gradually loosens, it is very likely that you will be able to successfully use the AirPad within a few weeks.
  • 3) When you change to a new AirPad, it might seem to be long. In that case you can trim it to the length that fits your pusher. (New Mantor kits come with the AirPad pre-adjusted to the correct size, so no trimming is required in those cases)

How to wrap the AirPad around the pusher:

Step 1: Insert your thumb into the AirPad and position it at the base of the pusher.

Step 2: Wrap the AirPad around the pusher while maintaining pressure with your thumb.

Get your spare AirPads:

It’s worth noting that the AirPad can potentially puncture over time. To ensure uninterrupted usage, it is highly recommended to purchase additional AirPads along with your Mantor kit. You can find them at a very affordable price on our website HERE.
