How to choose the correct rod for the Mantor classic?

For Beginners with Foreskin restoration who measure themselves at a CI 1 or CI 2 level, Normally 1 Rod of 8 Cm and another Rod of 10 Cm should be good to begin with.

If you are more than CI 2, please measure your foreskin’s stretchable length to find the correct Rod size for you. Continue reading to find out how.

“How do I know if I have enough skin to start using a device like the Mantor Restorer?”

By and large, if you can pull your shaft skin on top of the glans, you can use a device.

There’s a very simple method to check if you have enough slack skin for using a device:

First step is to push the glans inside the penile tube with your finger.

Then grab the skin around the scar with the other hand, and pull forward. Look how far the skin reaches. If it covers at least two-thirds of the glans, you can use the Mantor.

How to measure your foreskin’s stretchable length in three simple steps?

1. Place your index fingers on the glans. With the other hand grab the foreskin.

2. Slowly push the glans inside the penis.
With the other hand pull the foreskin forward as far as possible.

3. Mark with the thumb the point where the foreskin reaches to.

4. Use a measurement tool to measure the distance.

Calculation of the correct rod size:

For the Mantor-Restorer classic version:
Add 3 cm to the number you have measured.
For example, in the photo the number is 8 so a rod of 11 cm will be the one that fits.
8cm+3cm=11cm

Another example, If your stretching distance turned out to be 9.5 Cm, round it up to 10 Cm and add 3.

10+3=13 Cm.  The correct Rod size for you will be 13Cm

When ordering it is recommended to choose one rod according to the size obtained in the calculation and a second rod slightly bigger to enjoy both the possibility of a good tug with a short rod and a longer one you can grow into.
You can add more rods to your order at the accessories part of the shop, and enjoy even more flexibility.

I really like this apparatus. It’s easy to install. It’s easy to adjust. It doesn’t come loose like other ones do. It’s easy to remove quickly if you have to pee. And so far it seems like it’s going to work very well.

Firstly, Tamir is an excellent person with whom to deal.

I believe I am a little over three weeks into using the Mantor classic. So far I am highly satisfied with the product. There was a preliminary break in period for my foreskin to get used to dual tension. Other than that the product is great! I definitely will continue to use this product for foreskin restoration.

This definitely a better upgrade from my old small uncomfortable DTR. The gripper on the mantor is miles better and even anti slip as well as it’s big enough to take in all the skin you want to put in it. PUSHER: the pusher is rubber and very comfortable except when you don’t get the right size hence my case. You see I am pretty sure that the size I ordered and the measurements I did are correct, however it would have been miles more comfortable if it had a corona shape that would have been better to cover the head diameter comfortably. Always get a 2 cm bigger than your measurement pussher.

As for comfort during use: I can walk just fine with even the longest rod on it. Never feels uncomfortable or too bulky. It passed the going up and down stairs test and the car seat test (but I’d suggest a longer rod for car seat sessions)

As I purchased the classic the seller was kind to me to upgrade my order to the DS and it is pretty reliable for tension side control when you have your member go in one side of the pants and tension the side that wouldn’t be streched as much. I also got the extra kit for walking, honestly I did not know how to properly use it.. but I got around it. It comes with a screw hook thingy to hook pretty much anything into and i found that useful as I’m going to experiment with weights sometime so this is pretty good.

You do need to clean your mantor and watch the toturial videos to remove and reassemble it again. Keep your mantor clean at least just the rubber parts.

This was my first upgrade and I’m very happy with it. Much thankful for Mr.Tamir as he was very helpful to me when shipping seemed impossible. A very reliable person.

So far my Mantor classic has been great, much more comfortable than the alternatives I’ve tried. I think the soft pusher, and the attention to detail really set the Mantor apart from the competition.

I had the TLC tugger for 10 years but rarely used it because i always felt like it will fall off and it wasnt comfortable. This Mantor is much much better, comfortable, seems to stretch more of the skin without having blisters and i won’t have to worry that it falls off during the day as well as at night. I think it will change my life. Thank you so much!

I really like the Mantor device. It’s much more comfortable for extended wear than the DTR that I had used previously. It’s well made and reasonable in price given the apparent quality of the device.

Everything is really top notch, and a clear step up and evolution of dual tension devices, except the pusher is nothing special. With too much use I have complications. I see the pusher has already been updated and looks much better, however in my experience I have come to prefer glans conforming pushers. I have literally affixed two different glans conforming pushers from other device makes giving me literally the best of both ends. I also have the ds now. While I do like the versatility of increasing tension in a specific area I have learned the hard way one must use extreme caution as quasi serious skin tears can occur. The ds with a glans conforming pusher is my primary dual tension device I use. I also use the tugger with a strap, and air method with another device.

I have to say this is a great device. It’s very comfortable but I can feel the tension. I can comfortably wear it for 11 hours.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT ROD FOR THE MANTOR DEVICES?

For Beginners with Foreskin restoration who measure themselves at a CI 1 or CI 2 level

Normally 1 Rod of 8 Cm and another Rod of 10 Cm should be good to begin with.

If you are more than CI 2, please measure your foreskin’s stretchable length to find the correct Rod size for you.

Calculation of the correct rod size:

Now that you know your foreskin’s stretchable length, you should add 3 cm to the number you have measured.

Guide for choosing a pusher

Guide for choosing the right pusher for you!

The Pusher pads are divided into two types: Notched and Round.

First step in choosing the pusher for you is to determine whether you need a notched pusher or a round pusher.

Notched is for restorers who are left with a remnant of the frenulum.

Round is for those without any frenulum left.

How can I tell if I have some frenulum left?

Normally there should be a thin line under the glans where the frenulum sits. If you can see a line, then you probably have some left, so you should choose the Notched pusher. If there’s no line, and you don’t feel this area is more sensitive to touch, you should probably go for the round pusher.

How to find the correct pusher to fit your glans?

Each type of pusher comes in 7 different sizes.

You should first measure your glans, when flaccid, to decide which size fits you.

We have prepared a sizing guide for finding the fitting pusher for you. Simply click on the picture below and print the document.

***It is highly recommended to use the sizing guide to get the most accurate choice***

***Make sure that you’re printing on an A4 paper. On page sizing option, set it to custom scale at 100%***

Click on the picture to print the document Glans sizing guide

Once you have printed the document, please follow these steps:

Step 1:Place a credit card or any other card of the same size on the drawing to make sure you have the correct scale.

Step 2: Fold the paper at the horizontal line.

Step 3: Cut the inner section of the circle.

Step 4: Slide your glans through the hole. The first size that your glans can easily slide through, without any contact with the paper – is the one for you.  Don’t choose one that your glans can’t go through easily.

If you can’t print our sizing guide, you can choose the fitting pusher according to your glans’ width.

How to measure your glans’s width?

We recommend using a caliper as shown in the picture below:

If you don’t have a caliper, then you can make a DIY Caliper by following these instructions:

Step 1: You need a ruler and two paper stripes.

Step 2: Fold the paper a few times to make it thicker, and then fold it a few times around the ruler.

Step 3: Use a duct tape to attach one strip of paper to the ruler. Make sure the stripe is aligned with the ruler’s measurements units.

Step 4: Move the second stripe on the ruler until the two stripes of paper gently touch the glans.

***If you don’t want to mess around with measuring, and you prefer to do it simple and quick, you can lay a ruler directly on the glans as shown in the picture below. Please be aware that it’s not as precise as the other methods. Make sure to look carefully!***

How to match your measurement with the correct pusher?

Below you will find the width of each pusher size. Ideally, the pusher width should be equal or 1-2 mm larger than your glans’ widest part at the base, because the glans gets wider when being pushed by the pusher.

For example: if your glans’ measurement is 34 mm, you should go for the D size pusher. If it’s 36 mm, choose the E size pusher. Whatever happens, don’t choose a pusher that is smaller than your glans.

Size A: 28 mm/1.1 Inches

Size B: 30.5 mm/1.2 Inches

Size C: 33 mm/1.3 Inches

Size D: 35.5 mm/1.4 Inches

Size E: 38 mm/1.5 Inches

Size F: 40.5 mm/1.6 Inches

Size G: 43 mm/1.7 Inches

I have received my pusher, how do I know if I made the right choice?

Here is a series of pictures to illustrate the difference between the pusher’s sizes.

These pictures will help you to determine whether the pusher you have chosen is indeed suitable for you.

The crucial factor is the width and not the depth. The Pusher should be as close as possible to the width of your glans without being too small or too big.

Is it really that important to do all these measurements?

Definitely yes. The Mantor’s unique pusher is designed to let you comfortably put pressure on your glans without causing any discomfort. A fitting pusher is crucial for your success. Getting a pusher that is too small or too big greatly reduces your comfort, and will most likely prevent you from enjoying the full potential of the Mantor.

What is it made of?

The Mantor’s pusher pad is made from a skin safe, platinum soft silicone manufactured in the USA.
